Jake MillerJacob is a PhD Candidate in the Interdisciplinary Biological Sciences (IBiS) program. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Jewish Studies from Vassar College. Before coming to Northwestern, Jacob worked as an NIH Post-baccalaureate Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) Fellow. In the Tullman-Ercek group, his work focuses on the self-assembling properties of shell proteins from the 1,2-Propanediol Utilization Microcompartment (Pdu MCP). Outside of lab, Jacob likes cooking, spending quality time with his friends, and playing with his dog Yudi.
