Dhanvi VemulapalliDhanvi is a PhD student in Chemical and Biological Engineering program. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy and an MS in ChBE from Northwestern. Dhanvi’s research focuses on developing directed evolution strategies for proteins that form into biomaterials, aiming to enhance properties like such as adhesion, bulk mechanical strength etc. Outside of the lab, he enjoys being a chaotic cook in the kitchen and is always eager to break his bones in intramural sports.
