Daniel de Castro Assumpcao

Daniel is a PhD student in the Chemical and Biological Engineering program. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering by the University of Campinas (Brazil). He worked in Piemonte (Italy), Alagoas (Brazil) and the San Francisco Bay Area as a R&D engineer before joining the Tullman-Ercek group. His work focuses on engineering MS2 Virus-Like Particles for targeted delivery. Daniel’s hobbies are social dancing, biking, and camping.
